So we landed a car in Adelaide, adding another 800kms to the journey. It worked out cheaper and easier as my (Dan) mum had yet to sell her old car from when she upgraded last year. It is a shitbox, but at least a known shitbox, with its mechanical history being behind some of the stresses and laughs in our family for the last 14 years. Now that it has got to Melbourne, the plans for transformation are already in the works.
We're chasing some mechanical assistance, but the paint work and slight body modications are coming along a treat. Stay tuned for the change later this week.
