A Big Laser

I always imagined that driving a car that is commonly described as "a big laser that looks kind of menacing" was actually going to give me the Mad Max car. But must admit, I am growing a little attached to this little beast.

We just got it back from the mechanics. It would seem that last year, when mum got the replacement engine installed, the dodgy brothers that performed the transplant neglected to correctly install the engine mounts, meaning the car only had 2 out of 5 working engine mounts. When I asked the mechanic if this would make the distance he said I was lucky I got to Melbourne from Adelaide and probably would have fallen out half way through the Oodnadatta track.
